I was born on March 22nd 1970 in Konstanz, Germany. I passed the German high school exam (Abitur) in 1989 in Hanover. After completing an apprenticeship at Deutsche Bank in Hanover, I went on to attend Law School, first at the University of Hanover and finishing later in Constance (from 1993 to 1997).
After a legal clerkship in Constance and New York and passing the German bar exam in 1999, I enrolled as a student at the Fordham University School of Law and graduated with honors with a Master of Laws in Banking, Corporate and Finance Law in 2000.
Subsequently I remained in New York and established an office for a publicly listed German company.
In 2003 I returned to Germany and I have been working as a lawyer in positions that bridge law and management.
